Scott Oliver is an attorney in the firm’s Indianapolis office, where he is a member of the firm’s commercial lending and litigation practice groups.


Prior to joining Lewis & Kappes, P.C. full-time, Scott served as a summer associate. He also gained invaluable litigation experience working part-time at several law firms while also attending law school full-time.

In 2013, Scott earned his B.A. from Purdue University, where he graduated with highest distinction and served as the graduation commencement speaker. In 2016, he earned his J.D., cum laude, from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. During law school, Scott was the President of the Student Bar Association, Assistant Chief Justice of Problem Writing and CLE Training on the Moot Court Executive Board, legal research and writing tutor for Professor James Dimitri, Vice Magister of Phi Delta Phi, and a student teacher at Shortridge High School in Indianapolis, Indiana.

He also served as an ambassador for the Office of Admissions, managed over 15 professional events for students and alumni, organized a career fair with over 30 employers, and created a new leadership position for LL.M. (Master of Laws) student representation within the law school governance structure.
