Civil Litigation
Bankruptcy
Sara has experience in a range of civil litigation matters including contract disputes, real estate issues, landlord/tenant matters and torts. She also practices with Lewis & Kappes’ bankruptcy group working on such matters as initial petition filings (voluntary and involuntary), preserving creditors’ interests, and adversary proceedings (including preference actions).
While in law school, Sara served as a certified legal intern for Indiana University Student Legal Services providing legal assistance on a variety of matters to the students of Indiana University. She also spent a summer as a legal intern for the Indiana Civil Liberties Union. Prior to law school Sara worked for the Indiana State Senate Democratic Caucus and for Friends Committee on National Legislation in Washington, D.C.
