Practice AreasCivil Litigation; Labor and Employment Chris Taylor is a member of the firm's civil litigation group, and focuses his practice on employment matters, commercial disputes, and asbestos product liability defense. Chris has represented clients in numerous forms of employment-related litigation, including wage payment claims, employee whistleblower claims, employee benefits litigation under ERISA, and discrimination suits under Title VII, the American with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act. He has also represented clients in various commercial and business matters and disputes, including breach of contract claims, utility actions, and collection matters. Chris is experienced in all facets of the civil litigation process in both state and federal courts. While in law school, Chris was an extern for federal Magistrate Judge Christopher A. Nuechterlein of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, South Bend Division. Chris also clerked for two years with Douglas & Ferngren, a Valparaiso Indiana civil rights litigation firm. Finally, Chris spent a year as an Americorps volunteer fostering youth participation in community service activities in Porter County, Indiana.
