Brian represents individuals and business of all sizes in a wide range of areas, including business formation, contract preparation and negotiation, and dispute resolution. From the day he joined Lewis & Kappes, Brian has represented clients in commercial and general civil litigation and appeals at the state and federal levels. Brian also provides representation to several not-for-profit organizations, including the many not-for-profit health care centers that Lewis & Kappes is proud to represent. Brian is an experienced energy and utility law attorney, representing large industrial and commercial customers at the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission and in Indiana courts, on issues that include adequacy of utility service, excessive utility rates and charges, and damages recoverable against public utilities under the Uniform Commercial Code, the Indiana Products Liability Act and Indiana common law. Brian also has represented a number of organizations in securing trademarks for their businesses, and defending their trademark rights against other parties.
