Todd Richardson Elected to Board of Storytelling Arts of Indiana

(Indianapolis, September 7, 2005)  Todd Richardson, a Director with Lewis & Kappes, has been elected to the Board of Directors of Storytelling Arts of Indiana, a non-profit organization devoted to promoting the art of storytelling through an annual festival, concerts, programs and other initiatives.

Founded in 1987, Storytelling Arts of Indiana produces an annual Hoosier Storytelling Festival, a regular series of storytelling programs and a variety of workshops, community initiatives and other events.  The Hoosier Storytelling Festival is presented each autumn in conjunction with the Indiana Historical Society.  In addition, the Storytelling Series is presented on Saturday evenings throughout the season at the Indiana History Center.  Further information about the Hoosier Storytelling Festival, the Storytelling Series and other storytelling events is available at www.storytellingarts.org.

Todd Richardson joined Lewis & Kappes in 1992, after six years practicing in Boston, Massachusetts.  He is a graduate of Harvard University and the University of Michigan Law School.  He practices primarily in the areas of appeals, utility law, intellectual property litigation and trade regulation.  In 1994, he was a co-recipient of the Trial Lawyer of the Year Award issued by the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association.  In 2004 and again in 2005, he was selected as a "Super Lawyer" in the area of appeals, through a state-wide peer review process conducted by Law & Politics and Indianapolis Monthly.
