Jack Wickes Elected to Board of Directors of
Hoosier Veterans Assistance Foundation
Lewis & Kappes Director John F. Wickes, Jr. has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Hoosier Veterans Assistance Foundation (HVAF). The HVAF is a leading non-profit organization in Indianapolis providing assistance to homeless Veterans and their families. It has been providing services since 1993.
Jack Wickes is a Vietnam veteran and is active in the energy and utility law practice at Lewis & Kappes. He has been active in veterans affairs throughout his professional career, and served as counsel to the Veterans' Affairs and Labor and Human Resources Committees of the United States Senate from 1975 to 1979. In 1988, he was the Democratic nominee for the United States Senate. His legal practice concentrates on the representation of industrial and other large volume consumers in proceedings involving energy and utility companies.
