Eight Lewis & Kappes Attorneys Named “Indiana Super Lawyers” for 2007
Eight Lewis & Kappes attorneys have been named “Indiana Super Lawyers” for 2007, in an annual listing from the publishers of Law & Politics and Indianapolis Monthly. The Lewis & Kappes “Super Lawyers” for 2007 are:
- David Gray – Employment & Labor
- Gary Price – General Litigation
- Jack Wickes – Energy & Natural Resources
- Steve Tuchman – Immigration
- Tom Ruge – Immigration
- Todd Richardson – Appellate
- Bette Dodd – Utilities
- Peter French – Business Litigation
The 2007 Indiana Super Lawyers publication states, “Only 5 percent of the total lawyers in Indiana are listed in Super Lawyers.” By comparison, more than 40 percent of the Lewis & Kappes directors have been named in the Indiana Super Lawyers list this year.
The Lewis & Kappes attorneys named as 2007 Indiana Super Lawyers reflect the breadth of the firm’s practice, as seven different practice areas include a Super Lawyer from Lewis & Kappes. The only two Indiana Super Lawyers in the Immigration practice area this year are both Lewis & Kappes attorneys.
The selection process for Indiana Super Lawyers begins with a statewide survey of Indiana attorneys, followed by independent research, evaluation of professional achievement, peer review by a blue-ribbon panel for each practice area, and final selection and verification. As stated in the 2007 Indiana Super Lawyers publication, “No other legal publisher identifies qualified candidates by using a multi-step evaluation process that incorporates peer recognition and professional achievement.”
